Duration of Course: 2 hours
A PREREQUISITE TO THIS CLASS IS EITHER PASSING OR NOT PASSING OUR ROC NJ CARRY COURSE. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Short Description: Do you want to give it another shot (literally) or even add a firearm to your carry options? ROC, has you covered. Our Re-Qual/Add-Qual class will provide you with another opportunity to achieve your N.J. Carry goals.

PREREQUISITE - To take this qualification, you must have previously attended one of our Essential Holster and R.O.C. N.J. Carry classes (see more details below).
This is not an easy qualification, but it will not be difficult if you take Basic Pistol class of some kind and practice shooting at multiple distances.

More Details: If you were unsuccessful with your initial shooting qualification or want to add an additional firearm to your New Jersey Carry permit? No problem, R.O.C. will assist you with achieving any goal when it comes to carrying a firearm for self-defense in the state of New Jersey. There is an additional fee for each qualification.
This course is a 2-hour instructor lead class covering only our Firearms Familiarity Qualification. Students will receive a certified signed letter from the ROC Training instructor they can include with their NJ Carry application.
Lessons Covered in this Course:
Lesson 1: Firearms Familiarity and Shooting Qualification (50 Rounds - 80% or better passing score) - NJSP CCARE Requirements
Course of Fire: Refer to the NJSP Civilian Carry Assessment and Range Evaluation (CCARE) Qualification Course.
Total 50 Rounds: 10 rounds @ 15 yards, 10 rounds @ 10 yards, 10 rounds @ 7 yards, 10 rounds @ 5 yards, 10 rounds @ 3 yards: Strings of fire will start from a concealed holster, then drawing with two hands. IT IS NOT TIMED!
Targets will be the FBI Q targets. This will be performed with a pistol that you legally own.

Above All...An Open Mind
Pistol: Semi-Auto or Revolver you intend to carry (We Cannot Lend You One of Our Pistols!)
A secured holster with proper SHAPE RETENTION.
150 Rounds of quality ammo (We have ammo for purchase if necessary.)
Eye Protection
Ear Protection - Electronic Preferred
Minimum of three magazines or six speed loaders
Magazine pouch - Holds at least two spare mags
