CRASE Training provides participants with the knowledge they need to recognize the signs of and react quickly to a life-threatening, active shooter emergency. Knowledge is the power to survival in the vital 5-12 minutes before police intervention, when an innocent bystander becomes an On Site Responder.
Law enforcement officers and agencies are frequently requested by schools, businesses, and community members for direction and presentations on what they should do if confronted with an active shooter event. The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend (ADD) strategy developed by ALERRT in 2004, provides strategies, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event.
Training Includes:
· Understanding of the Avoid Deny Defend principles
· Denial, Deliberation, Decisive
· Mindset - Have a Plan
