All R.O.C. Courses are taught by certified, professional firearms instructors who have years of experience in all areas of the training industry.
This course is perfect for first time shooters who want to know anything and everything about a hand gun.  All action types, caliber and sizes are covered plus the following:

• Safety:  Extensive review of Firearms Safety, safety in the home, and on the range. This includes the universal safety Rules for Handling all types of Firearms

• Demystifying the “Language of Firearms”:  Cartridges vs. bullets, caliber vs. millimeter, double action or single action, and other elements of the lexicon.

• The mechanics of Firearms Operation:  Parts of the pistol and revolver, how to load and unload them safely, and how they function.

• Selecting a Handgun that fits YOU:  Grip size, trigger span, recoil?  Working towards finding the right handgun for you and what you want to use it for.  Help with ammunition choices as well.

• The Five Fundamentals of Proper Shooting: Hold Control, Breath Control, Trigger Control, ad Follow Through.

• Different types of Stances

• Live-Fire Session:  One-on-one coaching with one of our instructors while you fire the handgun of your choice, utilizing the techniques and skills you have learned in the classroom. We put your training into context.

• Tuition Costs include: Classroom and Range Fees, Targets and 25 rounds of 9mm ammunition

This Course Satisfies All Requirements for Obtaining a Non-Resident Concealed Carry Permit from Florida, Virginia and other states.
